BROADTAIL MOOR - TOP VIEWS

Mature adults, viewed from above

Top views are unusual in the literature and on the Internet except in Chinese and Japanese goldfish sites. Goldfish were originally bred in China to be viewed from above (see History), and in Japanese goldfish shows fish are usually judged in white, shallow bowls (rather than in clear tanks, as in the West).

The eye proportions of these fish could ideally be larger; otherwise they are fine specimens. Shown at BAS 2000.
