DORSALLED POMPONS

Adult pompons with dorsal fins and Far Eastern finnage

Orange fish shown at GSGB 2005, with large nasal septa; ideally, these would be the same size.

Chocolate fish with red-black head and smaller, red nasal septa and a slight hood. Shown at GSGB 2005.

On Chinese goldfish websites, you will see pompons with and without the dorsal fin, and with short fins (fantail type) and long fins (veiltail/ryukin type). The Western standard is for the fantail type.
